EasiFill adheres to painted surfaces and is lightweight and easy to mix, apply and sand.
I've done the same as you in the past & it takes longer in my opinion. Plus once it's got a coat of paint on it it'll highlight any fine filling that'll need doing aswell. I still have no idea what happened, whether there was an issue with the filler, paint or both, which makes it very hard to avoid it happening again.
